IZOLACE ARAX JIHLAVA, s.r.o., is a specialist in technical insulations for technological equipment of buildings (abbreviated to “TEB”) and industrial applications. We receive and implement orders from across the Czech Republic, the EU and from other countries of the world.
Our domains include effective insulations of HVAC pipelines, technologies and devices – not only for energy saving but also for comfort and safety of operation.

Insulations by ARAX cover a full spectrum of temperatures – from -50 °C to +1850 °C – for standard as well as extreme operations.

Fire insulation and certified systems
We install Promat and Grena fire protection systems, including professional seals of pipeline and cable routes.
All of that is in compliance with the applicable standards for fire safety of buildings.
We hold valid certificates for all types of technical insulations we make.

SIA INSULATIONS – removable technical insulations
- We develop and produce removable insulating sleeves over fittings, valves, sensors and other building technology components. These solutions are ideal for equipment where access needs to be provided together with energy efficiency. The SIA removable insulations are designed for installations with maximum surface temperatures of up to 250 °C.

Rubber insulations (for cooling, air ducts and HVAC systems)
Rubber insulation is made of highly flexible insulation material with closed-cell structure and properties including high resistance against vapour diffusion and low thermal conductivity.
Applications of rubber insulation materials include heat insulations and insulations against condensation formation on insulation of pipelines, HVAC air ducts and tanks for cooling, air conditioning and technological equipment.
Rubber insulations are hose-, plate- or tape-shaped. Alternatives to the standard version include a self-adhesive variant shortening assembly time or another variant with ALU-film surface finish.
Polyethylene insulations (light, hygienic, flexible)
Polyethylene insulation is made of polyethylene foam with closed-cell structure characterised by low volume weigh, low thermal conductivity, flexibility, zero absorbability and easy workability.
In addition, polyethylene insulation is used in thermal, acoustic and mechanical protection applications for pipelines as well as for protection against aggressive environment effects.
These insulations are tube-, plate- or strip-shaped. They are made without surface finish or with various types of surface finishes (including ALU film, polymer film, LDPE or HDPE film etc.).
Mineral wool and fibreglass (high temperatures, acoustics, fire resistance)
Mineral wool is thermal insulation made from melted basalt mineral. This makes it a material made fully from a natural resource, which is melted in production. The melt is subjected to pulping with production of fibres for the future insulation production. The fibres are mixed with a binder to make the mineral wool.
The products from mineral wool are mat-, plate- or strip-shaped. They are made without surface finish or with surface finish (for example with reinforced aluminium film, or galvanised wire mesh).
Glass wool, or fibreglass, is thermal insulation made from glass fibres. The natural product is melted, pulped and subjected to further process steps resulting in a heat insulation material. This material displays excellent thermal insulation properties, forms an acoustic barrier, is vapour permeable, non-combustible and compressible for easier transportation.
Products made from fibreglass are plate-shaped, produced in rolls or applied as blow insulation.
FOAMGLASS (steam-proof, non-combustible, resistant against chemicals)
Foam glass is thermal insulation consisting of millions of hermetically closed glass cells.
Thanks to its structure, FOAMGLASS is vapour-tight, absolutely non-absorbable, form-fast (non-deforming) acid resistant, rodent-resistant and displays excellent pressure resistance and rigidity even under long-term load.
